This past June, over 60 students graduated from our International Communication and Media (ICM) Bachelor’s programme, and their journeys were filled with unforgettable experiences! We asked a few of them to share their favourite picture from the last three years, and their stories will give you a glimpse into what it’s like to be part of the ICM family.
Tiffany: Turning Dreams Into Reality
Tiffany used the skills she gained at ICM to work on her dream project and start building professional connections. “Through ICM, I got to put the skills I learned into practice while also having the chance to work with fantastic people,” she shares. By the time she graduated, Tiffany had already started networking for a potential traineeship with her dream company, showing how ICM can open doors to exciting job opportunities in communication, media, and beyond.
Emilia: More Than Just a Course—It’s a Community
For Emilia, ICM was all about building connections and making memories that would last a lifetime. “ICM is more than a communication course: it’s all the people, the connections, and the memories we’ve made in these three years,” she says. Her favourite moment? Working on group projects with friends, where the teamwork and collaboration made the experience truly special.
Teodora: Winning Big with Aura & Lipton Ice Tea
Teodora’s highlight? Winning the Lipton Ice Tea pitch with her team, AURA. “My time at ICM was packed with many incredible experiences and opportunities. Winning the Lipton Ice Tea pitch with my team was an unforgettable highlight,” she says. This success story is just one example of the real-world projects ICM students get to work on, giving them the hands-on experience that employers look for.
Sinem: From Strangers to Lifelong Friends
For Sinem, ICM was all about the friendships she made along the way. “From strangers to the closest friends, we’ve journeyed together, lived together, moved to different continents as interns, worked on school projects (and cried over them), and even started a YouTube channel for fun—all because we chose ICM in 2020,” she says. Her favourite memory? Celebrating with friends after exams – a moment that captures the bond and camaraderie that makes the ICM experience so unique.
Mika: Gaining a Global Perspective
For Mika, ICM was a gateway to the world. “Joining this program has given me the unique opportunity to see the world, experience diverse cultures, and shape my career with a global perspective,” he says. His journey reflects the ICM program’s international outlook, preparing students to thrive in a globalized world and pursue careers that can take them anywhere.
